LOS ANGELES BIKE
Los Angeles Bike combines documentary photography, experimental, urban and fly on the wall styles of photography. Its an exposition of the Los Angeles underground bike culture from a first hand perspective. Los Angeles; considered one of the most dangerous cities in the country for cyclists, has given birth to a expansive and unique culture of cyclists. I found the only proper means of documenting this was to include the sense of speed as well as sense of pack mentality and anonymity so integral to this subculture. In truth, one can only experience this at night when cyclists can take the reigns away from automobiles and flood the streets.
